just to be vaguely on topic, I have the same problem with Safari. Firefox 4 & Chrome work ok.

The Pc's fine, BTW, and much happier running Opera, no idea why FF doesn't want to play passwords, but life's too short to worry about it.

I found a nice arty photo for the desktop, the view looking in through the windows at Buxton Pavillion, taken when I went there on a steam train. I may change this weekly if I can be bothered.

There is a face bottom right corner that I just noticed.

Odd, FF should ask you if you want to remember the PW when you first sign on. Ticking the Log me on automatically each visit does the trick until I close FF. Go to options>security>saved passwords and see if there is anything there saved for eater. Make sure in the saved PW section the remember PWs for sites is ticked.

/\/\ Yes, that was as it should be. However on both the PC and my laptop (also running W7), nothing happens. Despit telling FF to log me in automatically, no passwords have been saved.

Anyway, sod it, Opera logs me in automatically, and Eater is on Speed Dial.

@ Roy, and everyone

Look into LastPass or KeePass instead of using the native FF password manager. They are both free and cross platform.

The upside is that if your computer ever takes a shit again you will never loose your passwords. The big difference between the two is that Keepass is open source, if you're into that kind of thing.

I use LastPass, and really like it.

There are a shitload of sites out there that discuss the philosophy behind Pulp Fiction. IE: Vincent representing logic, Jules spirituality, Marcellus authority, etc.

Marvin probably represented nihilism (or maybe indecisiveness). He was a dude with no opinion and was a bit of a nothing. According to some philosophers, logic doesn't sit well with nihilism and spirituality doesn't either, hence why Jules accidentally went over the bump and Vincent unwittingly blew his head off.

So no need for Vincent to take a dump. Logic and spirituality were merely disposing of something that opposed them both.

There endeth Philosophy 101 for today.

They made extortion and murder look like just a job, which is shocking but probably true for some. The fact that they chat about Royale burgers and stuff as they go about their business was comedy thrown in. When they shot Marvin in the face, they reacted to it like someone had been sick. No big deal, but now the car's all messy.

Another movie reference I thought was the Deliverance style guys in the shop, doing terrible things to Butch & Marcellus. Very 'you got a purty mouth' style.

Back to topic somewhat, someone (Slightly?) mentioned Avast, and I'll sing its praises. I use Avast Internet Security ($29.99), and when I stumbled across a fake site the other day that immediately started to download a bunch of crap, Avast stepped in with warnings and cut the connection. It happened so fast that the only thing I saw was "you've elected to run xxxxxx.exe", and then it was gone. Yay Avast!

I've tried Norton 360, and that took up so much memory that I didn't have much else for anything but Norton 360's bells and whistles. :sigh:

@RC, I thought you wanted a c*#k wallet. Damn, I'll have to return your present now. It's Slightly's fault. Wink
