First bait and ive lost my scammer

I am undergoing my first bait, its the usual inheritence scam which needs to be transferred to my account etc, after getting some proof of ID etc I eventually forwarded my phoney bank details etc, however scammer tried calling my phony tel no, I said it was because I was away on business and couldnt get a signal and he now says I am a waste of time and he will not bother with me! How can i get him back!!

first of all, hello and welcome to eater

you shouldn't worry about losing a scammer, there's plenty of them,

if you want to get a free number, use http://k7.net/, you get a voice mail and fax (seattle number), you won't be able to talk to your lad, though

ringskype is a another good option, you get a number which you can answer form your skype account

read the stickies and Eater University, most of the questions you will probably have are already answered somewhere

have you considered applying for a mentor?

note: if you want to try and get that lad back, try sending him your new baiting number, if it doesn't work, screw him!

But to answer your question -
1) Why bother? There's thousands more lads to annoy & frustrate
2) Start over from a fresh email address & try some of the stuff your mentor teaches you.

@rach89 Don't worry about losing a scammer lad, there are so many out there. Those of us who have been baiting for a while will lose a lad or two along the way; I just had one come back after a four-month absence........guess he is looking for a payday. Wink

Look on the positive side. You may have lost a lad, but at least you've gained a mad squirrel as a mentor. Shocked

If your first scammer has a special hold on your heart (many of us are deeply sentimental about our first time....), you do not really have to say "goodbye".

Instead, bait him again with a new e-mail address, new fake name and new approach.

Want to give him a gift that keeps on giving? Get his phone number, and then remail it to other scammers with the following text (use a new e-mail account for this):

"I just got your e-mail and I have a LOT of questions. Please call me as soon as possible at [insert mugu phone number]. I look forward to hearing from you."

Sign your new best friend's name to this e-mail. Bcc it to multiple scammer addresses. (use the "big list" found at 419baiter.com) Repeat every couple of days for a week or two. To spice things up further, every couple of days alternate between the "call me" script above and an insult/hate mail format - be sure to include his phone number.

Welcome to eater, sorry to hear your mugu has been “misplaced”. Mugus are never lost, chances are good they will return sooner or later. In the mean time there are plenty of spare mugus, one source this the surplus section.
