I had to laugh as I came here and found that you had implimented already and idea that I was trying to work out to make it a bait to the scammers...
I figured out a name for my church "Bimini United Temple of Transcendation" or "B.U.T.T." for short and I had the names of the main characters already picked "Father Francois Dire and Sister Elaina Straights" Just finnished listening to thier music as I got the idea for the names .....
So I was just woundering how well that bait church of yours worked and if it was feasable to impliment another one and can I have permission to use the materials already in play with this bait church you have set here as T.W.A.T.

Church baits can be very successful. The TWAT modality specifically has been used many times and a few baiters have even managed to get a lad to build the TWAT monument (look for members here with the T.W.A.T

icon in their sig lines).

Many baiters have set up their own churches. bobjohnson's Holy Order of Bison and bravo95's Clowns for Christ are just two recent examples that come immediately to mind. There are many others.

Eater members use and modify each other's ideas all the time so I don't think anyone would have a problem with you adapting TWAT materials for your own baiting church.

I'm not sure I would use B.U.T.T. for a church name, however. I am a little concerned that a significant number of lads will "get" the joke and recognize that you are trying to "play" them. As a result, many of your attempted baits may fizzle very quickly. TWAT works because the acronym is a vulgar slang term that most non-native English speakers (and maybe many non-American English speakers) won't pick up on. BUTT, on the other hand, is a standard English word that almost anyone with a decent command of the language will know the meaning of.

Most lads are sensitive to the possibility that their intended victim is not serious. The lads, when they get suspicious of this, will often call you a "joker". I don't think you want to take the chance of being identified as a "joker" in the very beginning. Of course, it is your "church" so you can call it whatever you wish. That's just my two cents worth.

I have to agree with Raga Man. Most lads are totally oblivious to what twat means. Just a few days ago i and me cobaiter got a set of photos from our lad that have done both the pyramid (twice) and the ordainment ritual. In those photos he have had a big sign printed that proclaimed that he was a twat. So he and those who saw the sign did obviously not know what it meant.

That being said there is nothing wrong in using new modalities when church baiting. The butt acronym might scare many lads off but the ones that stay on the other hand is probably fairly stupid and more likely to be fun. When Bob Johnson make his lads tattoo themselves with "I give bj's" the words might scare some lads off. But i'd be inclined to call that collateral damage as the result is so much better.
