I'm not going into RL details, but from personal experience all I get is scammer idiots responding to my car ad in Craigslist. Things I learned:
They are not willing to travel an hour away to see the car, they want me to meet them elsewhere (and won't specify where)
They ask lots of questions that are clearly answered in ad, and also how much insurance is for the car.
They ask why I am selling the same car elsewhere for a different price, and send me a completly unrelated to anything link.
Obviously I'm spotting these as scams the moment I get the e-mails too, since none of these schmucks bother to call my number in the ad!!
Just wanted to rant, nothing more. |

Same thing happened to me. Thats actually how I came upon this forum as I was searching the web for info on scams. Very annoying though. |
