Romance Scammer from uk

My elderly father has been scammed out of approx 400 pounds.
They only talk on the telephone although he met her through a pen/pal booklet. Her name is Lisa and she is from Manchester. I now have her address and telephone number. What should I do next ? if there is anything I can do ?

get as much information about your scammer as possible and post the details on the sister site www.scamwarners.com.

I dunno what can be done if she is a local UK gal (I'm in Oztraylia), but there are plenty of UK members who might have an idea about local law enforcement.

I think Phil yerboots is British, he might have some ideas about what you might be able to do

Scammers routinely hide behind fake details, and also use innocent victims to collect money for them. How do you know that the information you have about the scammer is correct?

Try looking 'her' up on www.192.com. If the name & address checks out, and the landline is displayed, have your D ring it & ask for her. If she answers, then the address is confirmed.
