Hope they get it sorted.
I think a DDOS attack is where their servers are getting attacked from lots of different computers.
Perhaps via a botnet.

DDOS attack: distributed denial-of-service attack also DoS is a way of messing up a sever by getting lots of computers to try an access it at the same time, it's always done from lots of computers, with or without it's user knowledge |

On the scale aa419 is experiencing (and it has happened here as well), it's almost certainly Eastern European organized crime. Renting botnets is expensive.
Nice to know we're causing them that much pain. And money.  |

The thing about a DDOS attacks means we are hurting them, and hurt them bad.
Don’t let a DDOS attack stop you from fake site killing. The response to a DDOS attack is to increase whatever activity caused it. |
