Should we share our ASEMS so as not to make the lad suspicious if similar messages arrive at the same time?
I was thinking of saying something like "I am sorry I did not reply to his message some weeks ago, but I guess at that time I was not ready for a new relationship. But now I feel it's time to make a fresh start ....

ETA: I too have added him and signed his guestbook. Though bearing in mind his last approved message was July 2010, he may either not get all that much mail, or he doesn't approve a lot of it.
