Anyone got a website / location / address of a good (or bad:twisted: ) tattoo or piercing studio preferably in dakar but anywhere in senegal will do.

I searched the web but im behind a proxy here so kind of restricted on the searches i can make.

There may not be any tattoo parlours out there.
Senegal is a Muslim country and in Islam tattooing is considered haram, meaning that is forbidden to "defile" one's body.

I could be wrong and there could still be some place left due to tribal customs (the Fulani still use Henna tattoos) but there certainly won't be the number that there are in Nigeria, Ghana, etc.

Quite funny as i visited Dakar in 2008 and all the girls working in the hooker bars were "Muslim" as well.

They told me the story of how they justified it but still funny.

Hmm sounds like my poor lad is going to have to travel for some ink what a shame. Razz
