Whats the deal with these initial contacts with attachments in place of the #2 scripted e-mail? Some are html files, some text and some of the really short ones appear to just be viruses.

ie.

Lads put their scripts into the form of attachments to get around spam filters.

This is a gift from heaven, as you can now delay things trying to get those damn attachments to open. And of course, once you do, your computer gets a virus and everything gets wiped. Now you'll have to email once a week at your friend's house until it gets fixed...

With luck, you can go a few weeks before getting past the format.
