Just dealing with a new bait. Got sent this: http://www.national-lottery.lottomember.com/secure.php?id=729486

I entered the number they gave me, but any 6 digits seems to work. Pretty good job. I'll post my progress in due course (been away from the game for a while but get so many of these every day, I can't resist any longer).

Just thought I'd put it out there - perhaps the guys at the top can have it taken down (just let me finish my bait!) or trace it via IPs and what nots.

Just a heads up!

The site does noet need to stay alive for you to bait him, no? If it were to die a premature death that would be something you could blame your lad for, right? Wink

The site is fresh as a daisy, could you please post the email where you are referred to the domain? It's too convincing for it to stay online - it has to go, soon.

Well, fair enough, but if it comes down, he might get suspicious. In that case, I'll drift away from it and say it's not working.

He sent it to me in my response to his original email saying I've wone 160K on the UK lottery. I responded to say great blabla, and this came back within 2 minutes. It was not an original email.

Not a bad site though, eh.

Don't worry Wink I once was able to get 7 domains out of a lad before he got suspicious Wink. Their sites go down all the time. Could you post the full email or have you deleted it? (preferably + headers)

And yes, it's a pretty good site, which is why I want it offline ASAP. It could fool too many people Smile

Apparently, the domain is owned by a person in California:

^^^ That is the default address of domains with privacy registration through Yahoo. Yahoo is in Sunnyvale CA. And almost every fake bank, domain, website is register with fake/stolen details, so even if do trace back to a real person, they aren't really who registered the scam site. Wink

Where? I can think of a few regions where the person who owns this site lives.
