I got this document from a lad. Since I'm Canadian, it's easy for me to recognize this as a highschool achievement award document. (well, it started out as that, I'm sure this border has been used for many Canadian documents)
However, my question is... this one looks kinda "official". It's kinda hard for unsuspecting people to determine that this might be a fake. I have reduced it's size for this forum. The original looks much better, and could possibly be mistaken for some sort of a "real" document from unsuspecting victims. Should I confront my lad on this one... let him know I realize it's a fake, and force him to change it?

You're right, it does look too well made.
Definitely de-educate him if possible. Maybe go through your inbox, find a horrible certificate, then photoshop it, then add circles and arrows pointing out how the (much worse) document contains stuff you'd expect.
This should prevent the lad from recycling it, and get him to produce a much shittier version. |

Really with all the bad grammar ("whose name appear on below") on that certificate, most people should know it's fake although I realize there are many out there who would see nothing wrong with it.
Agree with the others. Don't tell him you know it's fake since that will only motivate him to make it better. |

I got a rubbish email from a trade body (lad set up a new address) confirming him, so I asked for his Official Loan Agent Certificate
and guess what? yes a badly photo shopped version of the Canadian cert so this is clearly making its way round lad land
