Tons of facebook scams running around. Although most are easy to spot for scambaiters... lots of people still get hit by them (free farmville cash or free facebook credits come to mind).

If the link doesnt work, do a quick facebook search on ScamSniper. It should be easy to find.

It's constantly updated with the latest scams, giving people the latest information they need to either protect themselves, or repair any damage done by falling for one of these scams.

Feel free to pass this on to all of your facebook friends. Help spread the word and try to eliminate as many scams as possible.

I have an account, but pretty much ignore it.

I keep getting phishing attempts or I think they are.

I get messages that say I have notifications waiting, with an email link.

I don’t use the link in the email, but go the site and I have nothing waiting.

I turned notifications off pretty much straight away, and I very rarely use their apps now as well. In ALL of my facebook account real and baiter
