So I got the email from the greedy Sandra Owen wanting to donate money to me via her financial advisor, in Detroit Michigan.

Email him for instructions.

He gets back to me with all the fees, I tell him, that Detroit isn't that far and my financial advisor is in Detroit as well so Ill just drive down and drop off the payment.

Advisor is out of the country and now I should send money to Nigeria.... go figure.

So I email back that my financial advisor says there is no reason the fees cannot be deducted from the donation prior to it being sent. It's actually common practice.

Please send the contribution via WU if you choose, directly to him/his office as there is a WU center in the lobby.

Haven't heard back so far...

Let a day or two pass and then email back and ask what's happening. Tell him that you're sorry to be impatient but you really want to move forward with him quickly because you need the money for - insert excuse here. Very Happy

Then you're going to need to ask a lot of questions about the best way of getting the fees to him, (hello bank account) and also, seen as you don't have the amount that he's asking for, you'll need to discuss and agree on a lower fee, stall stall stall...
