Has anyone ever thought of setting up a bogus Paypal (PayLads?) type site but to catch the scammers?

Could make bogus exchanger options like WU to PayLads, Paypal to PayLads, MG to PayLads, etc etc.

The admins could punch in bogus transactions for the scammers to claim.

They link their bank accounts to it to get money transfers but the bank info is reported to authorities?

The lads adapt their scamming tactics extremely fast and would very likely use any such website and/or transaction numbers to scam their victims.

I recall a lad trying to use one of our fake shipping sites in his scams a while back.

I know that these services send you a "You've Got Cash!" email when someone sends you money through them.

If you aren't signed up, you have to, to get your money.

Would be a good way to get them to join up. Everyone would send "money" through it and trigger the emails to the scammers to sign up to get their money.

Around the time I joined we had a memeber on the run from the real FBI for setting up a fake bank site and using it in the way you describe. He had a lot of explaining to do trying to convince them it was a joke. Shocked

Hmmm... I guess if it's readily open to the public, I could see that happening.

Maybe make it accessible by IP only, or by access code only.

I've seen member only websites set up like that, that were running mlm programs.

Invite only, and had to have a login to gain access to anything.
