Facebook/Email theft - Friend is sick please send money

I am new here so please go easy on me!

My Friend Amber had her emails and facebook scammed from her and out of the blue I she asks me for help, money to save her friends sick sister. I thought this was rather suss so I got in contact with Amber who couldnt get into her emails or facebook. I had the scammer talking for over 2 hours.

I reported the Scammer and all the FB accounts his IP address was recorded against have been closed down until recovered by their rightful owners.

First of all, be safe - use a name here that you don't use anywhere else on-line.
Second, please read all the Eater University posts and sign up for a mentor to guide you.
Third, remember that we are dealing with criminals here, so don't contact them under any name or e-mail address or anything that can give them a crack at information for the real you. Get yourself a gmail account with a completely unrelated name.
And please listen to whatever the moderators and experienced baiters will tell you.
