I have been baiting a particularly stupid ( and lazy-natch) lad who's running a vanilla NOK format. He wasn't keen on completing the PR/CK forms and insisted on providing a bank account ( sent straight to Alan of course). The bank account belongs to an associate of his who runs a legit business and he therefore insisted on the lad providing a scan of the bank transfer before he would give him the money. A distorted and very coffeestained form was sent to the lad who was very grateful.

The money was for a Letter of Administration. Tonight the lad has sent me the Letter together with the death certificate etc.

The question is- has the lads associate actually handed over £1600? Or doesn't the lad have the balls to call me out on the transfer and hopes to get my money with a different tack? I rather hope that he has had the money. He'll spend it and then hopefully get the crap beaten out of him- before he has to pay it all back. Very Happy

This lad loves talking on the phone. it would be a shame if he didn't meet some of my friends- I will be more than happy to provide his addy to any phonebaiter who wants some fun! Very Happy

I am not sure of the answer, mm. All I can say is from my limited experience (as I hardly get to the payment stage Laughing

) is the lads usually accept the payment if I have prepped them it will take a few days for the transfer to be complete. They then proceed with the next steps as if they have the money. It is a week later when they can't get the money from their 'account' that they start to whine.

So I don't think they get the money right away as I find it hard to believe some scamming associate would 'trust' the payment will eventually show up. But maybe in some cases it happens and certainly you can hope. Wink

And if your laddy wants to chitchat on the phone -- I would love to talk to him a bit! Very Happy

The answer is in. It seems that the lads associate gave him money from his own pocket. Laddie called me several times today saying that the money hadn't gone into the account. Unfortunately I think I sent the money to the wrong account Twisted Evil

It seems that the bank will take an age to refund the money. Time for lad to complete the PR/CK forms Very Happy
