Im sure that this one has been around for awhile, and me been a little bit on the silly side one day. I found a listing on the Gumtree website, saying that you can earn £2 per envelope stuffed.

So i rang him up, spoke to him and he said if i goto his site
pro-publications.webs.com/

went there, had a read about, and then went to buy a pack for £25 via paypal. the site said within 7 days ill recieve my pack. A day or 2 passed, and i thought to my self "What the hell have i done", but i still hoped, so wait the 7 days, and even sent the dude some more emails, but then he stopped replying.

So now ive currently opened up a PayPal dispute, and should ahve my money back soon. I know its only £25, but these days every £ is worth it.

I did notice that, his email address [email protected] had a facebook account, along with the right name. And also then noticed that his paypal account is Non-US verivied. So im guessing that he doesnt reside in Swansea, as he said he did.

Oh well, just thought i would share with you guys.

Just done a IP trace, and its 65.55.90.103 coming from the east side of the states.

As with all of these things, if it sounds too good to be true...

Sorry to hear you lost money to a work from home scam, there are loads of variations ( for instance stapling packets of buttons onto display cards - which you pay up front for but which are always rejected leaving you with worthless stock. Same deal with candle making), but they usually at least are semi legal, yours is just a polite mugging. I hope papal help you out Smile
