What is the site for tracing Gmail IP addresses and how does it work if the sender's actual IP does not appear in the header? |

Gmail does not provide any IP address so you cant see it.
I like to use this tool where you copy in the whole header.

There are many ways to obtain the ip from a Gmail lad. Personally, I prefer to convince him to switch to Yahoo !!  |

This is what I do. The last guy had a private proxy IP. So when he couldn't get the image I told him it was because he was behind a proxy and to try it from a different network or different computer. He did and the IP was just sitting there, looking all pretty. |
