1997 Jetta. Sticker ran out in September. Runs great still but needs too much work to get it stickered again, so you can use as parts (and still has lots of great parts) or spend the $$ to fix it up. 4-speed automatic. 216,000+ miles. Like I said still runs great, electrical still works great, the problems are exhaust, rust in rockers and floor, and needs struts on all 4 wheels. $400 OBO.

Script script script!! I really wanna go after this dingaling. But it's connected to my RL e-mail. Should I tell him it's sold, or just quickly drop? And would anyone here want to play around with him? If I didn't need the money I would take his fake check as a trophy, send the car in even more beat up condition than it was when I really did sell it, and get his reaction. Then again, even in beat up condition and needing already a lot of work, would likely still be the nicest car in Nigeria or Ghana!! Laughing

That still involves Bert's real life details. There's no need to involve his car at all. As I said above, just email him from a baiting address referring to a different make of car.
The lad won't notice that you're "replying" to an email he didn't send.

funny, I got a hit from a scammer on a quad I was selling via craigslist. He insisted via email that he didn't have internet access.
