My coworker sent me this today from her email. She has heard me talking about this enough to know better than to reply!

United States Of America, am thinking of relocating since I am now rich. ^^ We call those "Recovery Scams". They're particularly nasty as they are aimed at previous scam victims promise to get back the money you lost plus "compensation". Of course the victim simply gets scammed out of yet more money.

However they are very baitable, especially if you tell the lad about all the money you sent before to get them thinking you're a gullable victim.

Yes this type of scam has been around a while. No idea why they migrated to this (any ideas on where this mod came from)
I suppose in their mind this angle targets previous scam victims who might be desperate enough to try anything and get their money back. The way to play this bait is to act the victim, obviously the stupider the better.
Play ball with everything they ask but get everything wrong, from documentation to account numbers, you'll have them chewing their own shirt off with frustration in no time ..
