My catcher just got another one of these "CALVARY GREETINGS"
I have wondered what exactly "calvary" means - It's not in my dictionary 
So I tried uncle Google's translator, from English to some languages, I more or less understand:
Danish, Norwegian: Golgata
That's a place where one of the first fully documented physical nailings of a person took place
Dutch: Golgotha
Same place, I think.
Swedish: kavalleri
That's cavalry
German: Kalvarienberg
Must be some mountain or hill in germany 
Afrikaans: kruisweg
I guess that means crossroad 
Can somebody please enlighten me on this  |

It is supposed to refer to Easter with the resurrection of Jesus Christ in christian theology.
Or you can look at it from a "Us Cavalry Greeting" with a tank or the saying "If you ain't cav you aint Sh*t." |

It is the hill/mount upon which mentioned occurance happened (good pc?). It is supposed to put faith into the vic believing the scammer is a good christian? Perhaps the start of a charity or church realted scam? Is there and history of that greeting being used more for one scam thatn another? Is it a common greeting in West Africa? So many questions. |

^ I was never sure if it was where the crucifixion or resurrection happened. One or the other.
Either way, there are a few "Mount Calvarys" (roads, churches etc...) dotted around the globe so you can have some fun with that and ask your lad what is special about the Calvary? 
*Edit to add* If you ask them to explain and they come back with the crucifixion, you could ask if they mean Spartacus? |

"place or representation of Crucifixion"
