I know in my heart this guy is a scammer. He has sent me pictures as a 4 star General going by the name of Mark David. I have Googled this name and don't come up with it. I have been reading scamming sites and so I know what is going on, and so far have been playing along. Today, he called me to tell me he met with a family in Ghana (of course) to discuss bringing gold over. I told him I want no part of it. I could tell by his texts that his English was not the kind American men would use. Today, on the phone, I know for a fact that I was speaking with a man from Africa. I want to add the pictures he has sent me to see if anybody else has any clue whose pictures he is using.
This man claims he will be coming to visit me in a week and I know I won't be waiting at the airport for him. How can I add pictures so we can compare and share?[/img] |

Hi delriogirl, and welcome to Eater!
I see you've found out how to display the photographs you've received from this scammer, and whose photographs he is using:

As you know this is a scammer, please drop all contact with him now, and don't speak to him on the phone again. Just totally ignore him; disconnect the call if he phones; and don't reply to any emails from him.

and also to consider posting some of his scam mails at ScamWarners also - so to warn other people that this is not a genuine person. |

I went on Scam Warmers and got lost in all the forums. I would be glad to forward them and have someone else post them. He mostly contacted me via Yahoo IM. I knew something was up when his English wasn't that of a high ranking officer and he almost immediately wanted to marry me. Then there was a story on a NY tv station about a woman who was scammed and that had me searching. Luckily, I never lost anything but time with this person. I think he realied that I was on to him when he called yesterday and I was not interested ..at all.
If anybody wants me to forward the e mails, there are two, I will be glad to pass them on. They include the pictures he sent me. |
