There will certainly be people who believe that more than the usual deceased engineer with $8 million left to anyone.

Sorry, hit wrong button and reposted the scam letter. I just want to say that this is no Nigerian 419, this is a trained lawyer, a professional. The scammers appear to have wised up and have scored themselves a serious ally. The times, I suspect, are about to change.

It looks like someone has taken a real world situation and twisted it into a scam. There are actual unclaimed property and accounts listings on line. Here is one example:

I did a quicky search from the link on that web page. Almost all the listings are no more than a few hundred dollars and most are just a few tens of dollars. Some are less than a buck.
