I could see how people not completely privy to the art of baiting not being able to fathom how such an accomplishment could be made by NN. Plus they are looking at a ultimate bait and judging on that.

Of course it sounds ridiculous to me that it could be faked because that would be some mad P-Chop skills to pull that off.

They also have no idea what kind of work goes into that kind of bait. If they knew they may not be so quick to judge.

I'm waiting for my confirmation email for their site registration then I will post a recommendation to go to the site and read a little about what we do.

EDIT: I just noticed how old their post was. Hopefully some of them have seen the light since then. Wink

The real sad, and difficult thing to believe is that scammers foolish enough to send photos of themselves dressed as superheros are capable of fooling victims into sending them thousands of dollars.

In my rl profession I come across victims of 419 and other scams on occasion. Most are elderly, mentally handicapped or both. It really is sad.

A while back I came across a man who lost 25,000 pounds in an inheritance scenario. First the thug had posed as a woman, befriended the man (an elderly pensioner), faked his death and then assumed the role of the barrister with the inheritance - of course, there was a hold up on the transfer yada yada...

The old man refused to accept he was being scammed unto the very end. I never learned what happened to him.

Scammers like that are truly the dungpiles (withholding profanity) of the world.

Fair point Adrian would you go as far as to say the stories that are in the Press almost daily about victims losing lots of money, and in some cases leading to one man committing Suicide (caught up in a Romance Scam) after losing something like £80,000.

Would you view that with skepticism ?

^^Well said. Glad you were able to post I never got a confirmation email I even double checked the addie I put in.

Hopefully some of them will check us out but we are asking a lot for the atheist to have faith as said previously.

I do think we need to be careful and not have too many eater members sign-up there and defend baiting and that particular bait.

I don't think it would put us in a good light.

Yeah and I don't think anyone wants a war just want to educate. Afterall we are doing a public service in my opinion it just happens to be fun as hell too!

EDIT: That Adrian guy is a total prick. He claims that because the media doesn't do stories on baiting that it's fake?

Has he even considered we don't advertise what we do?

Many things happen in the internet nowadays. Do they need to be published in newspapers to be recognized? (very strange comment!!)

Also, should all baiters post their sources to believe them?

If he wants sources I can give him my account for the Australian lad bait.
I don't use it anymore.

Ignore the whole thing. It is not worth the effort to even justify the comment with a response.

People will have their own pre-conceived opinions. Whether they are well informed or ill informed. Human nature is to lead a person to believe they are always right. Justified or unjustified. People will make their own "corrections" or justifications.
