You know what, mugu, you're damn right- bank transfers are the way to go!

The account has been duly reported to Alan to be taken care of. Meanwhile, I look forward to seeing how he reacts when his next bank account is closed.

(Oddly enough, he sent this of his own accord after I told him he would get no MG transfers without the necessary security forms. The extent to which some lads will go to avoid filling in forms never ceases to amaze me).

Lazy lad. I wonder what takes longer for them filling out security forms or opening a new bank account. Oh well good for us.

^^^^Actually, as far as I can tell, very rarely will you get an account of the lad himself (though it happens), so it´s not a question of them opening an account. I can´t help wondering how many lads have the necessary documentation to even open an account.

It´s more a question of them having access to an account.

This could be an account used by a group of scammers with the booty divided up according to the numbers on the scanned deposit/transfer receipts they can show to the the account controler. I know of one particular account I've come to report and report and report again from over ten different baits.

When one of these communal account s is closed, there are a lot of repercussions, believe me, because accounts are most often used for scams involving thousands of euros. Hell hath no fury like an oga deprived of his 'cut' by a clumsy lad.

Another category of accounts are those of scammed victims. Mules. Having their account closed could (and so I hope) open the victim´s eyes to the scam.

Yet another category of accounts are those of the Nigerian Diaspora- rellies, friends, friends of friends, people from the same village or tribe living, studying and working abroad. In my experience thus far the majority of acounts I´ve reported are likely to be of this category.

So you can see why the average cyber-chimp wants to be paid via a money transfer agency. It´s easy and satisfies his oga quickly. And on the other hand, such a payment gives him the possibility to go behind the oga's back and avoid the 'cut'.
It´s more difficult to deny knowlege of a payment via a bank account. Wink

While I´m here, though, I found this 6 month old reply from a lad to a long deceased character in a forgotten bait.

It gives a certain insight into how lads view bank accounts:

What do you mean unreadable ???

This makes life hard for the MUGU`s.
I accidentally do the same - everytime I send a form to them.
