While struggling to get the hell out of bed this morning, I noticed an ad for Australian "Current affairs" program A cuurrent affair (ACA) on channel 9. In it, they're talking about "Nigerian Scammers" (In Big bright red letters of course) and they're "new tricks to con aussie out of their home and more"...
Being ACA, I doubt there'll be anything new, but it might be of interest to our Aussie forum members. I myself will still be working... |

It was as shallow as ACA usually is, and even had a flashback to the scammer chased through Sydney - they didn't say that he gave them the slip...
The story was about car-buying scams mostly, with a final note on a guy who'd had his house in Australia sold without his knowledge while he was working in South Africa.. |

Managed to catch the program after all, and yes it was shitty as I expected it to be.
I guess if it warns a potential vic it's all good, but there was nothing new in the content |
