I've just had a message on my real dating profile from a blatant scammer if anyone wants him? www.smooch.com His ID is fagor10. He's sent me his e-mail addy: [email protected]

Here's his profile so you can see why I'm suspicious (the fact that he calls himself a 'gal' maybe?? LOL, but he won't play games with a woman's min - what a shame! And check out his dinner party guests!! Good trick if you can do it!):

Probably has been deleted by now. My other idiot was deleted pretty quickly. I e-mailed this Fagor and used 'readnotify' - he replied and it says 86% chance he's in Accra Ghana - no kidding! LOL. His profile said he was in Staffordshire! He said he'd be online last night but wasn't. Oh well, I'll keep trying. Better go, my other lad's just come back online! Such fun! LOL Twisted Evil

Oh God no!! But thanks for checking!! No, I literally replied straight to his e-mail address (from my baiting Gmail addy) and said, "Thanks for answering my ad on the dating site.......". I didn't mention which site, my dating username or anything.

PLEASE can someone else bait him - he is so THICK he's doing my head in!!!! Mad

He said he's 52 and been in the UK 40 years. I asked if he came here with his parents and he replied, "No, just me and my kids". So he came to the UK with his kids when he was 12 years old!!

Now he's sent me an e-mail (blatant copy and paste), which says he has no kids!! SERIOUSLY!!!!

I'm trying to do a good deed by keeping him chatting, but I want to scream at his stupidity! He's so thick he's making my first lad seem intelligent! LOLOL Oh, and I now have a 3rd on the go! Let's hope this one isn't so blatantly stupid!!

If he's that problematic, just drop him. It won't cause any harm.

Deb can always pick him up too, but first, consider this:

He clearly is dumb enough that he is going to be less successful. Language problems and minor inconsistencies might go unnoticed--but not remembering how many kids he has will be enough to scare away many of his potential victims. If he weren't corresponding with you, he would still be doing dumb things that cause him to lose other victims.

If you have limited time to bait (and we all do, of course) and want to have maximum impact, then you probably want to focus on scammers who have better odds of being successful.
