I set up a Gmail account for a character who was a young lady, about to send a WU transfer to her lover so he could get his passport and travel to the UK to marry.

I ASEM'd it to some known scammer addresses, and got a few replies.

The thing that surprised em, was that I started the email "Dear Jeremie", and yet none of the replies even bothered to change their names. I got 3 sets of W U transfer details. 1 was Celestine, 1 was Promise, and the last was Andre.

Now surely, even though they are trying to steal money from the vunerable, they can't think my character is dumb enough not to think "Hang on, my lover is Jeremie and this person is Celestine!".

I've replied to the three in questions with "Jeremie, who is this Celestine/Promise/Andre? I thought I was sending the money to you".

Then of course, I'll have to see who makes up the best story about Jeremie and how they know him. Maybe they'll win a prize?! (they won't)

Seems like whenever I ASEM a bunch of lads, at least half of them respond with their script. Lazy punks can't be bothered to read three sentences. Mad

It's true. A barrister who is organising my papers to work as a nanny has still not grasped the fact that I am in the UK and therefore do not need a visa. I think I've told him six times now ferchrissakes. I've even copied in what he wrote in my last email to him. Retains information like a string bag.

In do ASEm frequently to smoke out some action, and I get replies like thatn all the time. I just reply asking them to provide further details. Some of them will just go on with their scripts.
