I have no idea how to bait this... presumably they did send the same sms to all the people
TD-demo it seems is one of the bulk SMS senders.
Can i bait this safely ? |

I'd go ahead and bait them on their email on your PC/laptop. They won't have a clue which mobile numbers they called - it would have been a massive list. Perfectly safe.
Are you in the UK? I'm sure I've seen a complaints contact somewhere to opt out of mobile spam. I'll see if I can find it. |

DungDigger, do you reckon a spamming scammer will bother checking a 'do not spam' TPS list? 
If it makes you feel any better, nobody3, the tetrmination cost of an SMS is 3p+VAT. That's what the networks charge one another to deliver an SMS in the UK. That means at the very least, it cost your scammer 3p to try to rob you  |

I've been curious about SMS messaging. Like, with a pets number, would I be able to send a reply using something like yahoo messenger since it has that option? I don't know if my potential new net pets could trace my IP back, which obviously would not show me being from where I claimed to be, if I got the rare smart one  |

Yeah the lads are moving into SMS. A euro lotto scam flooded Australian mobiles a month ago, on Telstra, 3 and Virgin networks. I'd love to know who sold our brand new phone's number to the lads, naturally our phone provider denies it but I believe they are lying  |
