I had a few baits going at a time, but this is the one I was most invested in. This is my first bait. It is finished. Being my first, it was a learning proccess. I would certainly appreciate any constructive criticism. I found the constant "send the MTCN now" got a bit boring at times, but I liked the ending. I appreciate all honest feedback.
I'll skip the first letter. It was a long, "Do you need a loan?" form letter.
I respond.

Great. I'm glad we can continue with this. I'd like to say that I don't know if Western Union is a great idea for me right now. As I said, there are people who are looking out for me. And my food supply is running low, so I'm eager to get this done.
Although I’m a little confused to the numbers. If I have to pay a 2% interest, why do I also need to pay a 4.5 % interest up front? Does this come out of the finial amount later? Not that I object. 6.5% is still a great rate, and I just really need the money at any interest right now. But does the $450 you are asking for come out of the final payment? If so, I’d really like you to withdraw the $450 from the amount given to me now, and you can transfer the rest of the loan directly into my account. Thanks.
T. Herman

OK, I guess that makes sense. I'm glad that the $450 is refundable. I'm not a expereinced businessman, so I guess alot of international banking is done through Western Union. But I've never used Western Union before and am a little nervous. I'm not sure how it works. Could you please explain it to me? What are all the steps I have to go through? Please don't leave any steps out, as I really don't want to have to go back for some silly mistake. Do I have to know which Western Union bank you will pick it up?

Hello T. Herman Zweibel,
In regards to your mail,be informed that you will have to go to any Western Union outlet closest to you and pick up a form in which you will fill out the receiver's details which i sent you.
After filling out the form, you will submit both the form and the $450.00 to the Western Union agent who will do the transaction. After giving the form and the money to the agent, the agent will put the money through to us and the agent will give you a security number. The security number is the MTCN which you will send to me so that we can pick up the payment. The payment can be picked up at any Western Union outlet here in our country and we have an outlet very close to us here in which we will pick up the payment.
If the western union agent ask what you are sending the money for, tell them it's personal. After you must have left the western union outlet, you will have to send me the MTCN so we can pick up the money and once we get it,we shall immediately finalize your loan.
Kindly let me know when and what time you will be making the payment so we can make necessary arrangements to avoid delay.
Prompt response is required. |
Quote: |
OK. Because of the time differences, I will tell you the time in Greenwich mean time. Right now the banks are not open. I will plan on going to the bank at 10:15 Greenwich Mean Time. Thank you. |

After a very long wait...

Ok. Everything is good to go now. It took me a little longer to get the cash than I expected. Trust me, you don't want to know what I had to do to raise the money. I just know I won't be sleeping well for a good while. But I have the cash now and I'm on my way to Western Union. You should get the payment in half an hour or so.
T. Herman |

T. Herman |

Hello T. Herman,
The MTCN is a 10 digit number which is on the western union form that was given to you.
You will have to check the form carefully and the MTCN is a security number which is a 10 digit number. Just check the form and send me the MTCN.
It is the MTCN that we will use to pick up the payment and you are advised to send it to me immediately you get this mail.
I am urgently waiting for your mail.

Hello Carolline Johnson
So I went back and read your earlier e-mails, and I fear I made a big mistake. You did a good job explaining to me what to do and I messed up. After what I went through to get the money, and after leaving the Western Union bank, I was worried about being caught by the gangsters trying to hurt me, I threw away the slip. I mean, what would happen if they found me and took the slip away? Couldn't they just cash out the money themselves? So I ripped it and threw it away. Now I read your earlier e-mails and see that you need information from that slip, and I feel stupid. What should I do? If I go back the the Western Union, will the man there be able to give my money back to me so I can try again? Can I get my money back? Or is it just lost? Do you know? If you don't. since you are at the bank, can you ask them for me? I'm going to have a really hard time trying to make that money again.

Hello,
You will have to go back to the Western Union and explain to them that you lost the slip and you need them to help you so they can check and give the MTCN to you.
They will ask for the information you used in sending it and they will give you the MTCN.
Just go back there immediately and get back to me soon.
Let me know how long this will take you.
Get back to me immediately.

OK. I have the slip now. This turned out to be a pretty bad night. How is yours? I finally tracked down the cleaners who clean out the trash where I dumped the slip, and they showed me their large dumpsters in the back where they throw their trash. So I had to crawl in them to look around. And they weren't empty. Tomorrow is trash day for them, so they were quite full. I spent almost two and a half hours digging through filth and food remains, and vomiting three times didn't make it easier. And all that with a flashlight. I finally found it in the second to last dumpster.
The slip is in pretty bad shape. Some parts are hard to read, and some of the vomit got on it, but I tried to wipe it away. So I have the MCTN number to give you. The first two numbers are missing. They look like they were gnawed on, probably by the cockroaches I saw in the dumpster. Here are the numbers I have. _ _ 44987400. The second number looks like it might be a 1, or 4, or 7, or 9. The first number is just gone.
So I hope all this works out. I need to shower and get some sleep now. I’m glad this is all almost over.

It is now that i know that you don't need the loan, since you know that you will not be able to pay the fee, why did you now agree to make the payment for the transfer of the loan.
I wish you really make the payment you should have go back to the western union and get the information from them and not for you to be sending me this fake MTCN number information.
Please let me know if we should cancel the loan or you are still ready to proceed but if you are ready you must make the payment before your loan can be transfer to you.
Kindly get back to me as soon as possible.
Ms.Carolline Johnson. |

What? What happened? So I wake up after an exhausting night spent digging through trash to find the first slip and send you the numbers, and in return you send me an e-mail to insult me? This is quite unprofessional. I didn't realize a major international finicial institution could just insult their customers like this. I am as serious as a lion in the sand about this transaction. Perhaps I didn't explain myself well enough.
A while ago I incurred some gambling debts to the local Don. $15000, actually. I've been working stupid hard to get the debts paid off, and paid off about $5000, but he isn't happy enough with how long its taking. So he sent a couple of thugs to warn me, and beat me pretty sore, with two cracked ribs. So I was hiding out in a friend's place when I got your e-mail. Yeah, I had tried banks before, but they all turned me down, saying I had no collateral. So I though this would work out. But then there are all these extra fees I have to pay, and instead of writing a check or deducting it or making a bank transfer, I have to do it through Western Union, which I've never used before. So I make a bit of a mistake, and you write me and insult me. And calling me fake? This is all very unprofessional.
It is still early morning here, so I'm going to check with the Western Union bank and see what's going on. The man yesterday told me that with your ID and security question and answer, missing a number or two from the MTCN is not a big deal. I'll yell at him and tell him that you called the number fake. I'll get all this worked out. |
Quote: |
Kindly get back to me as soon as possible the the sender's name, the name that you use to send the fee. |
Quote: |
OK, I went to the Western Union office and everything is taken care of. I had to get angry with the clerk there, but we got it worked out. I got the money back after all, and wrote up a new slip. Then I went to a copy shop to scan it, and they also had internet so I can sent it to you. I enclosed a copy of the scan in this e-mail.
Please let me know when all this is taken care of so I can get my loan. Thank you.
T. Herman |
Included is a blurry ‘scanned” copy of a WU receipt

I hope you don't get this too late. I am writing from the hospital right now and this was the soonest I could get to a laptop. After I left the Western Union, I went to the copy shop to scan the slip and e-mail it to you. On my way back I was met my four of the Don's goons who demanded money. Having none, the searched all of me and found the slip and took it. I even told them that it was a transaction fee for the $10,000 loan, and if they just waited I could pay the whole $10,000. But they just laughed at me and said the money would never come anyway, so they should just cash it themselves at a different Western Union office, and I should consider that a payment to the Don. Then they beat me ppretty hard and left me unconscious. When I woke up I was in the hospital. The doctor told me I both my acidotic epiglottis had a third-degree rupture. I'm not sure what it means, but I know it hurts.
I begged for a laptop, and this was the soonest I could get it. I really want you to tell me that you were able to cash out the money before they got to it. Please let me know that. I am in much pain here, and I don't know when they'll let me out.
T. Herman |

Good Day Customer,

To comfirm this payment send me your Sender's Name:

Please get back to me soon with the needed information. |
Quote: |
Oh, I see that they did take the money. Shit.
I think I might have a way to make a little more money. I have a "job" I can do that will pay me $500 once I can walk again. I'm very angry that I lost the other money. But once I can walk, I'll let you know, I'll do the other job, and I'll find a Western Union on the other side of town and send it to you. You need to understand that I am dealing with some very dangerous and powerful people here. I'll write to you later to keep you in touch.
T. Herman |
Quote: |
You did not send the fee before because i wish you did, i will see it but now he did not show pick up or any thing.
Tell me the truet you did not make the payment.
Is now i know because i trank the money and he could not even proved any information about pick up or send, he was just showing wrong information.
Thank

In regards to your last e-mail, all I know is what I know, and no more. You say the money was never transferred. I’m not sure what that means, but OK. I know I deposited the money. And know I know its not there. That’s all I know. I’ve never used Western Union before and don’t know how their details work. I know I had a slip, and that slip was stolen. And now you say the money was never transferred. OK, I believe you. But I can't decide by your words if you are implying something else.
If this arrangement is going to work, we are going to have to proceed on trust. I’ve trusted you so far in this process. I’ve followed your instructions as best as I know how, and I’ve trusted you to use Western Union, and that doesn’t seem to have worked out well so far. Now I ask that you trust me by believing that I very much need this money, and that my life has not gotten easier since we began this loan application process. We are working together on the same side here, and I think I wan this money more that you seem like you want to give it to me.
Its been a while since I wrote to you because I had a “job” that payed me $500. I don’t want to tell you what, but I can tell you what three horses not to bet on in an upcoming race. And for a while, I couldn’t decide if I should pay the Don to lower my debts, or to try again with you. But we are trusting each other, so here we are.
T. Herman Zweibel |

So I went back to the Western Union and made another payment. I got into an argument with the clerk about the last payment and how you said it never transferred. But he said there is nothing he can do and I cannot get the money back. And because of what happened last time, this time he scanned the form and put it behind a secure acess site. That way only you can get to it and there is no chance at all that anyone else can interfere. Which I guess makes sense, considering what we've been through. So to see teh scanned copy, please go here: http://www.sectr4nsfers.tk

Did you go to the website www.s3ctransfers.tk? The clerk swore that is was a very simple process.. He said you just enter the PIN, enter the online code, and the receipt is ready to print. I called the Western Union office like you asked and the person said the payment is good and is there, ready for pickup. I sent is as per your instructions. Just wondering, do you know how long Western Union holds onto money if it isn't picked up?
T. Herman |

You yourself should try the site and enter the code because right here now nothing like that, I even went to bank again now the bank told no mach fund.
So how come that this payment is made and i have been unable to pick it up. If you know this, did not work out, i will like you to go back and collcet you from them and go to money gram international transfer to get the money transfer over there. And also remember that you are sending the fee to Nigeria.

Yes, I agree with you. Western Union has become frustrating to work with. Do you often work with them in your day to day lending operations? How do they usually work out for you? When I got into the fight with the man, he was very unprofessional.
I will go out and retrieve the money and try to find a MoneyGram office tomorrow.

I here called on Skype with a fake Australian accent. I spent a lot of time asking why I spoke with a man, the assistant, and why I couldn’t speak to Caroline.
Quote: |
Carolline,
I called the number you gave me and spoke with your assistant. He was a very respectable man and I think we had a good talk. But I was really hoping to speak to you, since we've been e-mailing so much. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't speak to you personally. Then he hung up on me! Or maybe we got disconnected. So he explained what I should do and I'll be off tomorrow morning.
One really strange thing he said to me. He told me that he would give me my money through a bank transfer to my bank. But didn't you tell me before that you couldn't do bank transfers for some legal reason? Please remind me what you said about that. Because if we could have just done a bank transfer, everything would have been so much easier. Maybe your assistant doesn't know about that?

I called and the “assistant” said the money wasn’t there and he was very embarrassed in the MG office. I said that was strange because I got another e-mail from his other assistant Mary Johnson saying the money was cashed. He asked me to go back to MG and check with them. I said I’d go right then. Stay by your computer, I’ll be right back. The next e-mail was 12 hours later.

I just got back to my place and my computer. Sorry, it was a long day. I went to the MoneyGram office today with the receipt and checked with them. They told me that the money was confirmed as picked up. They said it was confirmed picked up in Edo, under the name you had given men and I wrote down on the form. This morning I was trying to tell you about the e-mail I received from your office, but I don't think you understood me. A few days ago your associate Mrs. Mary Johnson had asked for my e-mail password to complete the transaction, so I gave it. (Her name is Mary Johnson, but her e-mail header called her Pius Kunle.) She then asked that when I send you the form if I could please BCC her a copy. Then yesterday she sent me this e-mail. So could you please explain what is happening? Are you guys playing some kind of joke on me? Below is the copy of what she wrote me. I don't know what the word mugus means. What does it mean?

Okay hold it, seem you don't trust me because i wish if you do, you should have send me what i ask you to send just to help you spam those fools maybe you like the way they took your money from you.
Have a nice day ahead of you.
Thanks |
Quote: |
I am sorry if I appear rude to you, this is not my intention. But what you ask of me is a very serious request, and I have just lost quite a bit of money. It may have only been a small transaction fee to you but to me it was a lot of money, and I am not sure who to trust. You said I could trust you but then my money disappears and you say you did not get it. Now you want my e-mail password. Perhaps this was all a trick to get into my e-mail? I would at least like to ask that you send a photo ID of yourself? Perhaps we agree on a password phrase, or some symbol or action, and then you get a new photograph of yourself holding a sign with the password written on it? That way I will know for certain that the person in the picture is you. I would feel much more trustworthy then.
Or, even easier, could I just give you Mary’s e-mail address and you could take care of the spam yourself?
As I write this, my face is bleeding and my left index finger is broken. They gangsters found out where I was staying and came to threaten me for not having the money, and they warned me they would break one finger a week until I paid up. Things are bad for me here. I just don't know who to trust, here or in Nigeria.

Good Day Customer,
You first told me that Mary Johnson has your password then i ask you to change it and spam it, so you told me that you don't know how to spam it and i ask you for your password so that i can help you out with. When you where dealing with this people did you informed me about anything concerning this people even when i started complaining about the missing money.
See if you said you don't trust me also with me i don't trust you until you send the fee and i see it with my eye.
All to about three times, sending fee when i don't even see with my eyes. If you believe you want to cancel this loan you are free because i have try my best in this transaction. Your money disappears because of your mistake, you are dealing with some else and the money got missing you did not talk in time.
I don't need your password again, i was just trying to help you before that is why i was asking you for your password but is like you don't need my help.
All the western union that i receive from you, was not pick up the only thing is showing is NO MACH FUND then you said you send me money, i don't believe you until you give me your password to verify something from it, apart from that you will make me believe that you don't send any money.
Please don't tell me next time that you send me money because you did not send me any fee okay, i wish you send it you should have gotten your loan by now from this company.
Thank you for your understanding.
Ms.Carolline Johnson.

Quote: |
What is happening here? Why would I want to cancel the loan? Didn't you read that they just broke one of my fingers? Have you ever tried to type with a broken finger? It takes a long time.
First I was talking to Carolline Johnson. Then I tried to call you and was surprised that I could never talk to you but to your assistant. Then you chastised me for asking why you have an assistant that you never told me about, but you are a busy person and have assistants. Then when another assistant writes me, you chastise me for not telling you about your assistant. Then the assistant asks for my password. Then you yell at me for giving out my password and tell me to change it, and then you ask for my password. I am sure you can understand why this is all very confusing to me. And all I ask to clear this up is if you can send me a copy of your ID, or anything else you think would work to make me feel OK about giving you my password. I am sure you can understand that.
And then my money is gone because of your mistakes. Maybe that is not alot of money for you but it is for me. In the future please let me know who your associates are. For now I will only speak to you. If I call I would like to speak only to you Carolline. I wonder how well you know your associates.
I do not want to cancel the loan. I have put too much work into this to give up now.
T. Herman Zweibel |

Good Day Customer,
How are you doing today ? In regards to your mail, be informed that the Name of my personal assistants is Mr. Jackie, My personal assistants dedicated his life to this work. Very honest person.
Really work is not easy for me here because i go from one business to another but that dose not mean that i should not know what is going on in my company.
Attach to this mail is a copy of my company identity card so once i want you to know that the reason why we need your password is for your safety security and to also make sure that we get those people arrested.
I will like you to work with me with your faith and hope and let us complete this loan once all this is done then you shall have a rest of mind concerning the loan transaction. I am really sorry about your broken finger.
And i will also like you to informed me when you will be able to proceed with this payment again but before then we will have to spam those people.
Kindly get back to me as soon as possible.
Ms.Carolline Johnson.

Attached is a photo obviously taken off Google with “Carolline Loan Identity” information poorly photoshopped next to it.
I think I probably didn’t handle the next part better. I tried to call him out on the photo, but I think that was a dead end.
Quote: |
Now I know something strange is going on. I know that photograph. That's the famous author Jeanne Teasdale, from the U.S. If you are going to choose a picture off of Google, why choose such an famous person? You are raising many doubts about this operation. If that photograph really is you, please do this. Please take a photograph of yourself in front of the Carolline Loan Company so that I can clearly see both you and the company sign. Otherwise you can understand why I could only assume that you copied a picture off of Google to fool me. I have been fooled many times in my life. I will not be fooled again.
And then you can have my password
|
Quote: |
Hello
I got your mail and i never expected this kind of mail from you. After all what i have gone through just to make this loan transfer a successful one. I want you to know that you are wrong in regards to the picture. The picture is mine and not any American author. I can never be so stupid to use someone else picture instead of mine. And i will not take that accusation from you by changing my identity.
I have been into this business for a long time and i have never been embarrassed like this before. As of now i dont want you to send me your password anymore since you think am a scam. Anyway if you want me to cancel the transaction i will gladly do so since you want me to send you my picture and i have already sent you my passport still you dont believe in me. I want to know if you are still willing to continue with this transaion. I want you to know that all my staff are dedicated and trust worthy and i can verge for their loyalty. That is why i told you that Mary Johnson is not part of my loan firm because the loan companies are different. So you should know that you are being fooled by mary johnson and not me.
Kindly get back to me as soon as possible.
Ms.Carolline Johnson. |

Please do not be offended. I meant no offense. But I do recognize that picture of Jean Teasdale. I suppose perhaps you look exactly like her. I did not receive a passport photo from you. If possible, could you please re-send that? And why should you be offended if I ask for a photo of you and your place of business. I am sure you have on for your website, right? This really is not too much of me to ask. The other loan officer in England provided it on his first e-mail to me. I look forward to receiving it. Thank you. Please know that I am still very eager to do business with you. Perhaps after all this is over we can find some way to further compensate you for your troubles. |

Here I was getting a bit bored. So I created a new character at a new address. T0ny Salami, the mafia boss to whom Zweibel owes the money.
Quote: |
Mrs. Carolline Johnson
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Don Tony Salami. I an in charge of a very influential organization in Australia, and I believe you have been in contact with a certain customer of mine, by the name of T. Herman Zweibel. I have come somewhat to understand the nature of your transaction and would like to offer my services to bring your transaction to a conclusion.
T.herman Zweibel is a good kid, but can be a bit of an idiot sometimes. He’s very cautious in some things and I respect him for that. I think he could have some real potential in my organization one day, but he has some growing up left to do still. He is an idiot when it comes to gambling and he built up quite a bit of debt to me through that. So he’s been working for me to pay it off some, but his debts to me are still outstanding. He currently owes me over $10,000, and I believe that I why he has been in transactions with you. I’ve had to rough-handle him a bit to inspire him, and had some of my guys leave some serious wounds with him as reminders, but nothing that won’t heal eventually. In the course of this he was brought to me and we discussed the situation with you lending him money.
I am sorry the situation has been difficult with you. I must say that is why, despite my numerous international financial transactions, I myself would never use Western Union or similar services. They are too unreliable and there are too many factors out of your control. At some point I could advise you on much more efficient means if you are interested. I want you to understand that to me, the debt that T. Herman Zweibel owes me is not much. I’ve spend more than that on my vast wine collection. But the point is the appearance. I can’t have it look like one of my guys can borrow my money and not pay it back. I can’t forgive such negligence, and I must look strong. But I also feel for the poor kid and believe he can be an asset to me in the future. So I have an interest in seeing this loan go through.
So this is my proposal. I have a few contacts in Africa. None in Nigeria, but around, in South Africa, Mali, and Angola. To have an associate fly out to Nigeria to meet you and take care of the necessary fees would be nothing to me. Of course the flight would cost more than the fee itself, but my concern here is to prevent any further unnecessary violence. If this can be done soon, I would like to show my gratitude. A generous tip would be included as well as some “gifts” that can be discussed at a latter date.
There is one stipulation I am ask for first. You do not tell T. Herman Zweibel that we have had this conversation. Find some story to explain why the fee is taken care of, and move on.
I am looking forward to a successful conclusion to this affair.
T0ny Salami

Carolline ignores Tony and writes to Zweibel
Quote: |
Good Day Customer,
How are you doing today ? In regards to your mail, be informed that attach to this mail is the id again and what are you now talking about your loan transfer or are you not longer interested again.
Tell me when you will be able to get the $450 again and send since you have changed your password and is now i have the believe that we can confirm this and get your loan transfer to you.
Kindly get back to me as soon as possible.
Ms.Carolline Johnson.
|
Quote: |
Yes, I am still interested in the loan. I do not know why you keep asking me that. I only asked for that photograph to continue. I am not sleeping well wondering what reason you have for refusing to take that photograph. Please write back when that is taken care of.
T. Herman Zweibel |
After a long delay, T0ny Salami gets impatient and writes again.
Quote: |
Carolline Johnson,
I am a very influential man, and when I choose to take the time to e-mail a person and they do not respond to the courtesy, I take it as a personal offense. I proposed a solution to you that I believe to be a very generous offer. I have offered to physically send one of my associates to you to solve this problem personally, and you give this generous no reply. If you have not read my prior letter, I have no patience to repeat myself here. If this is the disregard you give to your customers and business, I am not surprised that you have handled this whole affair so badly.
I will extend my prior offer one last time. If I do not hear a response from you in the next 48 hours, I will understand that as your intentional insult toward me, and I will withdraw the offer. I will find another solution to T. Herman's situation that will both allow me to save face and help him in his troubles. At that point I will be influential in convincing him to no longer converse with you, and his transaction with you will be closed.
Don T0ny Salami |
The lad again ignores Tony and writes to Zweibel
Quote: |
Hello,
Please i have some information for you about Don Tony Salami who told me something's that i really need to informed you, very urgent, i will like you to give us a call or you respond to my mail to know if you really know this man that is planting for you.
Kindly get back to me as soon as possible.
Ms.Carolline Johnson. |
Quote: |
Hello. Yes, I do know Don Tony Salami. He is the man I owe the money to. How do you know him? What is going on here? Have you two been working together? What is he planting for me?
T. Herman Zweibel
|
Quote: |
Good Day Customer,
In regards to your mail, be informed that i don't how Don Tony Salami got my company contact address,
BELOW HERE ARE THE MAILS THAT I RECEIVED FROM HIM CONCERN YOU AND SAY THAT I SHOULD GIVE HIM YOUR LOAN WHICH IS $10,000.00
I will like you to find a way and paid this fee so that i can get the loan transfer to you in time and in regard to Don Tony Salami i told him to call me but he can't call me because he know that what he was aking for will not be possible.
Kindly get back to me in time and let us proceed with the transfer of your loan.
Ms.Carolline Johnson. |
So he completely mis-understood Tony’s e-mail. Thinking he was trying to steal Zweibel’s money or get his own loan. Here, the forwarded every single e-mail that Tony had sent to him/her.
Quote: |
Carolline,
Wow. This is very interesting. I will defiantly talk to him about this. Yes, I know how he got your e-mail address. I gave it to him. I told him about our transaction because he was giving me so much pressure about the money I owed him, and I already had one finger broken and it is still in a cast right now. I had to convince him that I was getting a loan to pay him back, so I had to show him the e-mails. But I didn't know he was talking to you about all this. Wow. I didn't know that was his opinion of me. "kind of an idiot but a good kid"??!! Wow, this is going to change things. Thanks for letting me know about all this.
By the way I did try to call you yesterday but I got the message that "the network cannot be reached at this time."
T. Herman Zweibel

Thanks, you try the number now and i will like you to tell me when you will be making the payment. |
Zweibel and Tony talk. Tony then sends this e-mail.
Quote: |
Wow. You aren't very smart are you? How were you ever able to start your own loan company?
I offered you what can only be considered a golden opportunity. I offered to have one of my men meet you personally and hand you the transfer fee needed to start this loan. I offered you even more money and potentially a gift to make this agreement more interesting for you and to make up for your troubles. All I asked was that you do not tell any of this to T. Herman Zweibel to save me personal embarrassment for trying to help the kid out. If you were not comfortable with this agreement, all you had to do was say so, and I would have withdrawn it.
Instead, you do the one thing I ask you kindly not to do. Not only do you tell him about this discussion, you sent him every single letter I sent to you. Now I am in an uncomfortable position. I now must quickly find a way to secretly supply T. Herman Zweibel with the funds he needs, to get him to stay quiet about this embarrassment.
I will not be in contact with you again. Now that T. Herman Zweibel's money problems are about to be over, I doubt you will hear very much from him either.
Don T0ny Salami
|
The lad again makes no response to Tony.
Quote: |
Good Day Customer,
How are you doing today ? I wish to informed you that i also received this mail again from Don Tony Salami again, please tell him that if he need a loan he should apply not for him to keep on asking me to send him your loan.
|
Again, the lad forwards Tony’s last e-mail to Zweibel.
After a long weekend, Tony and Zweibel met and worked things out.
Quote: |
Carolline,
I believe this will be the last letter I will send to you. My money
problems have been solved, and I no longer need this loan, and I have
you to thank. So thank you.
Seriously. Thank you very much.
I had a long talk with Don Tony Salami. He had been trying to pay the
transaction fee to you for me without me knowing about it. I think
you didn’t understand this. He was not trying to get a loan for
himself. He was offering to have somebody visit you to personally
give you the money I owed you. Once he found out that I knew all
about his letters to you, because you sent them to me, wow, he was in
an embarrassing situation. He thought he had given you an amazing
offer for you. Also, he said he tried to call you to make the
arrangements at the number you gave him, but the network was down.
Before I wrote you I had tried to get a loan at a few local banks, but
they all turned me down. Today I got a call that one bank will give
me the loan. I went there and worked it all out today. Of course we
both know why. Don Salami has some influence with a banker there. He
wanted to make it look like I am paying him back on his own without
anyone finding out what he did for me. Also, he gave me a very nice
and well paid job in his organization. Plus he’s given me an extra
$2000 if I just delete all those e-mails.
So I am glad that we met. I went through hell for you. I crawled
through trash, sold my dog, went to the hospital, had a finger broken.
But it was all worth it to get these debts paid off and have this
great job that could lead me to some real power in the organization
some day. I’m sorry this didn’t work out for you, but it worked out
great for me.
Although I do still wonder why you didn't want to take the photo that
I had asked from you. Of course, I'm glad you didn't. If you had, I
would have gone right back to MoneyGram to make another deposit, you
would have received the money, and the loan would have already started
by now. Now I have that loan and a new job without any transaction
fees. But I still wonder why you refused to take that photo?
Thank you again for what you did for me. This will be my last goodby to you.
T. Herman Zweibel
|

Good Day Customer,
How are you doing today ? Thank you very much for your time and God Bless you.
Thanks.
Ms.Carolline Johnson.

I love it! Loan Lads can be as difficult as Lottery Lads to keep going, and this one asked you for payment so quickly .... and then kept writing and writing all those emails. I love your storyline too.
This is my favourite part:
Quote: |
Then I tried to call you and was surprised that I could never talk to you but to your assistant. Then you chastised me for asking why you have an assistant that you never told me about, but you are a busy person and have assistants. Then when another assistant writes me, you chastise me for not telling you about your assistant. Then the assistant asks for my password. Then you yell at me for giving out my password and tell me to change it, and then you ask for my password. I am sure you can understand why this is all very confusing to me. |
You said you were getting bored towards the end, so I guess you wanted to finish the bait, and your 'goodbye' letter must have been so much more satisfying than just dropping the lad, and simply not replying anymore.
It's a brilliant goodbye letter as it basically says, 'Dear Lad, you would have got the money if you had paid proper attention to Don Tony's emails, or if you'd just sent a correct photograph.'
And it all had a happy ending for your character too - not only has the lad's failures left him without the money, but they have actually vastly improved your own good fortune .... wonderful work!
And this was your first bait!!? Wow. |
_________________ x14
It is your first time to use western union so therefore none can blame you. It is always like this at the first experience. - Yes lad, and at the second, and the third... you'll see.
I don't want to guess the number - But, lad, isn't that the best fun to be had with MoneyGram reference numbers? |
