Ok, no worries, shall I ring your manager?
What is their name please?

Regarding your other email, about going to the Santander bank, next tp my work there is only an HSBC (my bank), a Lloyds TSB and a Natwest. The Santander is on the other side of town and I don't have to time to get to it, and back again, on my lunchbreak.

If it has to be a Santander bank that I go to, then shall I try to make the payment after work for you?

Please tell me what is best.

Regards,
Ma1 ars0le.

Hi there,

have just gotten back from the bank and the funds have left my account. They should be with you shortly if all goes to plan. I did have to fill a few forms in however they said because of the nature of the transfer. I think they wanted to make sure I wasn't a terrorist!

They offered me the choice of a printed receipt, but I went for the emailed one as I thought it would be easier for me than faffing around trying to find a scanner, then upload it and send it over to you. They said something about emailing you instructions or something? They also said that if the email doesnt arrive, not to worry, but to let me know and I'll talk to them tomorrow and say that you hadn't received it.

Speaking of which, I spoke to the bank mananger about the incorrect info I got from the trainee yesterday, and the manager said that he would word with the trainee. He also said thanks for bringing it to his attention.

Please let me know if the email doesn't arrive and I'll get back to the bank for you.

Is my account ready for me to log into now? Do you have an address that I can access it at?

Thanks again,
Ma1 ars0le.

It was at this point that I used the fake mailer as linked in the General discussion forum to send an email, apparently from HSBC, telling the scammer how to access the online bank receipt.

It might have been that that screwed this one up Sad

Yes, not a problem.

have you not received the email about the receipt from the bank (HSBC)? - It should have been emailed over to you. Did it not arrive? They told me to contact them if you hadn't recieved it within 24 hours.

Let me know if you havent had it, and I'll see if I can get into talk to them after work.

Regards,
Ma1 ars0le.

Still nothing so I thought I'd fire a parting shot...

Also, I have just realised you have not used the large font that I asked you to, because of my bad eyesight, in your last few mails. As such, I cannot read what you have said, and don't know how to reply.

But seriously, can I use that email in my signature?
It's fantastic.

Thanks,
Ma1 ars0le.

I'll let you know if I ever hear anything back, though I doubt it. Very Happy

Lovely bit of straight baiting. I think I'll start using the large font idea. That way you can easily discount emails from your lad if he forgets your instruction.

The lad just threw you a piggy with no problems either happy crowd
