It is 100% SCAM! This is an increasingly common scam approach.

eBay owns Paypal. Paypal and Western Union are competitors--eBay will not ask you to send money through WU, ever. Plus, ebay and craigslist compete, and the two also would not be mixed together!

Any email address from ebay will be @ebay.com
The domain this scammer used, security-transaction.com appears to be a fake domain created by scammers about 2 months ago. I will ask a site killer to pop in and see if they can set the ball rolling to shut that site down...

Glad you realized before it got too far. Please discontinue contact with this scammer as he undoubtedly has your real life information. Baiting him would not be "baiting safely."

Dorothy is correct, the domain is fraudulent and we'll report it for closure. If you go to http://security-transaction.com you'll note that there is no content to the site, it is a Google Applications pageholder. The scammer is just using it for its email facility to try to appear legitimate.

Hello, everyone here, call me Kozaky I work for a Fraud Detective Dept.
All day long I see at least six types of scams, one of them being the "Ebay" Motors agent.

WU does not guarantee any arrival of any single kind of product, at all.
WU transfers can be paid out in any city within the state you send the money.

vbadescu, the scammer told you to send to Dallas, TX.
He can even pick it up at any deadbeat town in the outskirts, as long as it is TX. Even worse we have our reports that these "Ebay" agents are getting better each day, they now set you up with the function of "Test Question" which means that if they answer correctly at once, they can avoid showing ID, screwing you, me, and everyone trying to follow them.
