94 years after they fell in battle, 250 Australian and British soldiers who lay in an unknown mass grave since the tragedy of Fromelles have been formally interred with full honours.

With the passing of World War One from memory (as well as other conflicts) it's important that we remember and honour those who gave their lives so tragically.
Added - this is not to antagonise anyone or start a major argument. We also need to remember that not all of those who served their countries fought for just causes (E.G. Waffen SS and other genocidal regimes). We do need to remember all those killed but not for the same reasons. |

I'm glad those British and Australian soldiers have been honoured at last. It's been a very moving and emotional time for all concerned. Thanks for posting. |
