Do lads share addresses?

I'm getting lad emails to a charcter email account. I've never seeded it or given it out on the web. How are they getting this email address. I've only ever used it to email lads.??

They will occasionally share it with their group, or sell big lists to each other. If you're getting a lot, probably the latter.

Chances are you've been put on a "sucker's list" of known victims. Lads sometimes sell addresses that belong to people they think are easy to scam.

I'm on a 'sucker list'? That's brilliant! That's the best news I've had all day! Only scambaiters would be delighted to be put on a sucker list!

I've noticed an uptick in the number of scam emails as well. I guess they don't screen or filter their sucker lists and include baiter email addresses as well as those of real vicitims.
