Hey nobody told me we are criminals and we get Nigerian government money by baiting. After I was sure I wasn�t going to get a trophy, I ended the scam. I did send them to WU eight times asking questions as dumb as Q: I have been walking this way A: Ever since I sat on a banana and it disappeared. So I end the bait like telling them where to sick it and I know they are thieves. I get this response.

Now how in the hell can he say this after asking me to send $3,500.00 via WU? For the record I have never had crabs. I had a crab in my aquarium for a while but he crawled out and I found him dead a few days later. I never even got around to naming him. I would post my response to him but it is far too vulgar. So tell me how to cash in on some of this money.

The scammer is talking about the past, about the imperial oppression in the slave-trade etcetera. It's an excuse that many scammers use to justify their actions against other people. He's not talking about today's government money.

That is such blatant bullshit as everyone knows that Nigeria is not poor, it is full of oil and everyone could live a decent life, was it not for their own government that steals from their people and for those maggots that ruin the rest of what�s left of this countries reputation. Nobody sane would want to do business with Nigerian businesses as a result.
I think they are engaged in a constant competition with Bangladesh for the title of the most corrupt country in the world.

Actually I think he's probably referring to the giant oil companies (not just American I might add) that in partnership with the Nigerian government are pretty much stealing the wealth generated by the countries oil reserves. I'm not in any way using this as a justification, just trying to help him put his point across. But unfortunately for him the real villains are his own government who he probably voted for.

That's EXACTLY how they justify their actions towards us. They say that since it was us who stole from them, they will get it back.

What's good about that reply to you is that you lead on the mugu long enough where they actually thought that you were really who you claimed to be in the bait itself. That's the kind of reply that I could only wish for. All of mine are all death threats towards myself and my family. But, I do love them oh so much.

Mail him back and tell him that after your initial anger you stopped and thought about what he meant. You realised that he DID have a point about America stealing Africas wealth etc and you want to make a small token of repayment. Not the full amount that he is asking because you can't afford it. But just to clear your conscience you are going to send a few hundred bucks to settle the matter. Then send the prick to WU again.

Ok I don't know how many of you know this but I am west indian, and I know a lot of west Indians hate Africans. There are many reasons for this but the main one is they sold out there own, how can ten white people walk into africa and round up thousands of black people for their slaves and not get stopped they can't! They sold out there own and they have had quite a few corrupt leaders which put them in the third world.
Yes sometimes they were unlucky, I can't remember the tribes name and they hit head on with the romans when the Romans were at their strongest, unlucky.

For the history of slavery in Africa - well, in the Sudan region at any rate - over the last 2-3,000 years, "Emma's War" is a good read.

Hm. Maybe not a good read: it can be quite heavy going. But interesting nonetheless.

And it will make you despair of there ever being a solution in Sudan, not even in another 3,000 years.
