Does it check IP addresses, or could you get around it by grabbing a US phone number with the free VoIP services? (k7 doesn't work, to verify you have to actually answer the phone.) |

All you need to do is appear to be in the US upon signing up. Download Hotspot Shield and use that along with IPkall to sign up for google voice. I've used those to sign up from Ireland. |

We (Europeans, after all, WE are the center of the universe  ) can always sign up with ring2skype .. this at least allows your lad to call you and forward his call freely to your Skype. The lad will pay normal rates (if you choose to have a phone number set up in 'his' (m/f) country, ofcourse it's more fun to choose a country far away so he'll pay long distance/international calls!).
Haven't figured out how to make outgoing calls for absolutely free.... |
