I think we are focused too much on cheap scamming.

How about scamming here in the UK ???

I have been reading about this, cos they called me and sent me a couple of emails.

My colleague in the office was scammed and money taken out of his account.

Who said it was cheap? Some lads take victims for thousands, not to mention the cheque scammers who scam lawyers who think they are recovering large sums for them (cue violins),

I think the escort scams you link to can be fake advance fee scams, for the registration fees, but there are cheque scammers and old fashioned 419ers operating from the Uk as well.

UK agency scams are as old as the hills.

We deal here with 419 scammers because that's the name on our can, and that is not restricted to any particular part of the world. I've come across them in Russia, China, Japan, the UK, the USA, Australia and most of Europe.

I've waged war on other types of scammer too but the risks and dangers can be much greater and they are often impossible to bait.
