Here's my problem: Interpol has sent me an e-mail confirming that they have checked with the FBI and (together) they have verified that my business transaction is legitimate.
It is good to see my taxpayer's dollars at work....
The problem is that I have several "transactions" going on right now. I need to write back to Interpol, but really want to know which one Interpol is involved in. The IP points to Benin, but that still does not tell me anything useful. I hate to write back to the hardworking inspector at Interpol and say "Are you working with Mariam, Patricia, Khalid, or the diplomat from the UN whose name I cannot remember right now???"
Any suggestions?

How about just writing back and saying you are glad to hear that the transaction is legitimate and legal, and that you look forward to continuing the process? Then hopefully in the next email, the lad is a little more forthcoming about who they are talking about. |

Alas, BIU, I want to move the bait forward with something substantive involving the hard working representatives of Interpol. This may be an impossible dream, but I think that whichever mugu sent the Interpol letter may never need to use that persona again, and will simply try to expedite the scam with his/her/its main character (now that I have been "reassured" by Interpol, the main scam can move forward).
Problem - I want to get Interpol INVOLVED.....

Why not ask them to confirm the details of the transaction to which they're referring that way you can know they're legit? For all you know they could be some interloper trying to hijack your funds. |
