Am I ever glad to have found this group.
I have been laughing at leading these scammers on for years but my baits have never been as extensive as some of the ones that I have read about here.
I look forward to learning from you all, having some fun, and teaching these thieves a bit of a lesson...
One thing is that you all use a bit of a language unique to this board and I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction so that I could llfigure out what you're talking about...
What is asem in particular?

An 'asem' is an accidentally sent email. Some baiters will send an email to scammers pretending to have already sent that particular scammer money. Scammers rarely keep track of the addresses they email, so you can invent any back story and the scammer will go along, hoping for a payout.
Read the stickies at the top, sign up for a mentor and have fun. |

As a newbie scambaiter, I also have some 'vocabulary' questions.
What is this Gomer stuff I keep reading about? Also, what the hell is a hitlad? Mass bait? Safari?
And a couple of other ones I just forgot...
I am currently running my first few baits and I already may get a really nice trophy picture really soon. Yay! |

Ok, here is brief summary for you. 
Bait - Communication between scammer and baiter aka you.
Lad - your scammer.
Mugu/Maga - African word for "fool". Lads use this to refer victims, baiters use this to refer lads 
Love lad - Lad who pretends to be from dating site and want to get to know each other.
Vlad - Lad who is from russia Lots of love lads are in fact both love lads and vlads.
Hit lad - Lad who is claiming to be assasin hired to kill you.
Mass bait - The idea is very simple. Group of baiters is baiting one lad. The lad thinks he is writing many victims but he is writing to many baiters
Safari - This is kind of trophy you may get in baiting. You earn "safari" by letting your lad travel 300 miles or crossing international borders.
Dollachop - When you use other character to steal lad's money before your lad can pick it up.
G0mer / G0merbo1z - Mr. G0mer is made up character by G0merPyle. He is the most dangerous and wanted man in the africa. He is thief, murderer and criminal. Seriously, you dont want to get email from him. He is sort of nightmare of lads and its fun to see how the myth of Mr. G0mer is spreading amongst lads.

The great thing about Mr Gomer is that you can invent him to be as evil and mean as you like - the idea is to create a bit of a legend, the more lads hear about him, the better. It makes it easier for some baiters to get really serious scammers to try to join his gang, etc... |

There's alot of damn scammers out there mail-bombing their hokey
stories by the hundreds. And scammers are located all over the globe. |

The articles focus on different baiting 'styles' and include Safari baits, Vlad baits, killing fake sites (my fav!  ), etc. It's a great resource.
And signing up for a mentor is helpful, too. They are all very experienced and can help you get on your feet very quickly.
