hi there
just received a new one from a person i googled and no hits. 12 million pounds thrown in my lap without any explanation, dead parent, overthrown african president and 'forgive me to discuss such an issue with you over the internet' and that i of course am aware of 'fraudstars' but also that i 'so far put in my utmost' (...) 'due to the nature of this transaction.'
[email protected]
business manager bank of ireland in london. no website mentioned, and a hotmail-account (should be tracable...? you guys can, i know)
he seems to be in a but of a hurry...? scripts mixed up, maybe...?
sorry i am absolutely useless with sending the info you all need, as headers. the message came into my personal mailaccount. the name didn't turn up anything via google. i am not into baiting, though i do follow the forum here a bit.
please feel free to get the 12 million pounds. or his ass. |

Hi streetwalker,
We will need to see the email and the headers of the scammer before we can bait him - just to make sure that the email address doesn't really belong to your ex-boss or that annoying neighbour!
If you'd like to state which mail programme you are using (Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, whatever), then someone will be able to tell you how to access the header information - and then you can copy and paste it here (deleting your own name and email address from it, of course) along with the text of the email you received. |

I don't want to guess the number - But, lad, isn't that the best fun to be had with MoneyGram reference numbers? |
