^^ about a year ago we were staying in Alice Springs, a desert city in the dead centre of Australia, no other major towns for 500km each way. The nitro harley tour stopped by to try the new drag that had just been made, its apparantly upto internation standards. I was chatting to some of these boys at the casino the night after the drags and got the privilage to see the rides they were on. These were not there drag bikes, they were packed in team trucks, these were the bikes they toured australia on.
All fed nitrous oxide, (long straight desert roads so why not) massive turbos and superchargers, pretty much all running avgas. and these were bikes they deemed suitable to tour on. (must be good to have money) I can tell you they were in no way slow....... or factory standard  |

I love bikes and attend the Bulldog Bash whenever I can.
But, they scare the shit out of me!
I liken them to horses; very unpredictable and likely to chuck you at any time.
