Seriously, this article doesn't really tell you much other than one individual's view.
Marriage and relationships are different the whole world over. You can't even compare the views held by the same people in the same country as they're so diverse.
So it's not a "fascinating view of how the roles between men and women are seen in Nigeria".
It's just one man's view.

This is what my lad said when I asked him about African men and marriage:
