I thought I would start this up since the Search function told me that nothing of the sort has been done so far. Unless I missed something.

Anyhow, I think this is a self-explanatory thread, so post what you do for a living. I'll get the ball rolling:

I've always wanted to be a pilot. But then thought that since I spend most of my time on a computer, and know quite a generous amount about them I'd try for an IT job. But I fly aeroplanes too, in FSX. Surprised

I connect a chair and the keyboard of my laptop, pull up some very difficult looking code and pretend that I'm working.

Okay, I actually do work now and then. The company I work at is a small business with about 10 people (the 2 guys who own it (doing managing-stuff), me and a friend (we <strike>pretend to do complicated</strike> program stuff), 3 communications trainees (only there to keep the conversation from getting too nerdy) and 2 designers (one of which is only temporarily there to design the new website)). At a given moment there's usually no more than 6 of us present as only the two owners and the trainees work fulltime.
Apart from that the company runs very well (in terms of turnover and profit), which makes it a very nice place to work (and means I can pretty much decide when I come to the office to work and when I don't). Especially that last bit makes it just about the best job for a student to have, I can completely plan around everything study-related Very Happy

I own a security company, have contracts with both the commercial and industrial sectors, and even several private contracts. The major face of the business is night club and hospitality security, but this is also our biggest liability, due to the ever increasing drunken brawl mentality within Australia, (i know it its not just my city) As of a recent heart attack I have been working surveillance only (besides managerial) but have been forced to step into a few altercations. Basically I'm a bouncer who didn't grow out of the industry.

I work in Eater's creativity and animation department. The pay sucks, the working conditions are atrocious, but I get to hang out with...

I have been a passenger on a lot of planes, but I am not a sky marshal.
I have flown a plane, but I am not a pilot.
I am a certified scuba diver but have not done so in many years.
I drive a truck, but I am not a lorry driver.
I am a father, but I am not Catholic.
I am educated, but that doesn't make me smart.
I live on the left coast, but I am not a leftie.
I know a lot about drugs, but have never taken any nonprescription types.
I am a radical, but in a peaceful way.
I practice not having routines.
I can and do write with either left or right hand, some times at the same time. (class notes on one page, letters to friends on the other)

Oh, you mean something productive? Nothing at the moment. Wink

I'm a scholar (aka college student.... Aka poorer by the minute). Until recently, I traveled around the US kidnapping wayward teens for their parents.
I'm looking around for anybody hiring a straight baiter, but the market really sucks; it's nothing but telemarketer jobs.

I'm bored but have no spare time.
I get many guests that pay to visit
I also looks after pool water quality
I feed hundreds daily, but never cook myself.
I pay lots of bills, but none of them are in my name.
and the best one, I gamble with someones elses money and get paid not to shave my beard Laughing
