Should I just keep closing accounts?

I have a lad on the hook that wants me to transfer money to a bank account. So far I have sent 2 accounts to Alan (both with the same bank) and apparently he has killed them. However, my lad has now sent me a 3rd account with a different bank. Should I just keep sending these to Alan as long as the lad gives them to me, or is there some other tactic I should try to use (he didn't want to fill out the WU Home Land Security form which is why he is using banks)?

Keep sending them in. Good job. It costs them to open an account. Often it requires an initial deposit. Keep the guy plugging the slot machine until he runs out of silver dollars.

This is good for victims as often when an account gets closed before a real victim's money is removed, the closed account will reverse the transfer back to a victim. Lads are very quick at pulling the money before the account is closed because they do get closed. Getting an account closed after a vic transfer and before the scammer grabs it, can save a vic. Keep it up. Well done. They lose money on each that gets closed.

Often a lad will "borrow" (or be granted access to) some higher-level scammer's bank account for which he will be charged a percentage of the transfer value for the privaledge - this is why they often insist on seeing a "transfer slip" so they can confirm to the account owner that the money is theirs.

So when you get an account closed down you cause the lad additional pain as the account owner gets on his case, sometimes in a rather physical manner Smile

And it adds to your piggy count!

Alan willl investigate ALL the accounts you send him keep sending.

Lad may have to ask 'a friend' to 'receive' money for him.

'Friend will want a cut!

May even want a cut BEFORE he 'receives' the money!

When you send multiple accounts from the same lad and/or the same bait, point out the relation. Or forward your previous report (and tell him you did that) and only add the new stuff.

If your goal is to inflict as much pain on the lad as you can, keep closing. If you have different ideas in mind and don't want to risk losing the lad, then you may not want to. Certainly, the moral high ground would suggest closing as many as you can before he drops you, and then re-baiting him with a new character and starting all over. Maybe you can get him so frustrated (or in such trouble) that he quits.

And, yes, I always email Alan a list of all previous bank accounts I have received from the same scammer. This helps him to link them together and provides even more ammunition for him for getting all of them closed.
