ok thank you, i will do that for sure. because i used my email to reply to this stupid fag whos hacking larry's account, do i set myself up for being hacked into?? and if so, how can i prevent it?

@ someone_caring, I don't believe they will hack YOUR account, in fact they don't actually "hack" they borrow the person's name and e-mail address to use. This format is so common it's called getting "Londoned".

If you want to give the addy it was sent from; the community here will
jump all over the perp. Your call, we realize it is probably your friend Larry's real e-add. If you law low, quit answering the perp it may all just blow over, they quit writing fairly quickly when no money is happening.

That's all they are ever after. $$$, pounds, euros, yen, etc.

When your friend gets his account back make sure he checks that the perb hasn't put a 'forward' in. That's what happened to me. I got my gmail account back but the hacker had all my emails forwarded to another address that only he had access too. My friend replied to the hacker as well and got a couple of emails requesting money, that's all. You shouldn't get hacked because you replied.

These guys aren't really hackers, though they like to pretend they are in their own little fantasies.
Likely the only way they could get into your account is by tricking you into giving them the password. So don't give that to ANYONE, even if they claim your computer will explode if you don't, lol.
(Don't even give it to the the E-mail provider. They don't need it, 'cos they already have it.)
Just make sure everyone else knows it's a scam too.

If he has your E-mail address, you might be getting more varied scam letters too.

well, i wanna bait this bastard but i need to first get in touch with the real larry.. so i dont know how you guys wanna play it. i will definitely post here once i get a hold of the real larry but im pretty sure he'd be ok with us baiting the fake larry. the only thing im wondering is.. if we do bait him... what happens exactly? and how can i bait him as well? cause i totally wanna be a part of all this.

first thing i would suggest is you sign up for a mentor
-create a new Gmail account (gmail does not show ur ip to the person u ar emailing, more security)
-start emailing the fake larry
-DO NOT send money to this fake larry, dont forget you are baiting him.
-read up on some of the other baits so you can get an idea of what basically happens.

Keep reading this post because I am sure many will start posting their correspondences with your fake larry.

I don't think it's too soon to tell. Here's a thought: Scammer is
getting replies from people he didn't expect and is spooked.
