I don't play much video games anymore these days. It just doesn't appeal to me as it used to. But I do always feel nostalgic for the old days, particularly for a niche genre of gaming. Interactive movies. Those actually dated back during the days of the laserdisc, but the did make it to the more modern (for their time) cd based systems, like SegaCD, and my favorite and more obscure 3DO multiplayer.

Games such as Mad Dog Mcree, Who Shot Johnny Rock, (laserdisc) and of course the two games that also made it from the arcade based laserdiscs, called Space Ace and Dragon's Lair.

There is another title, released by the now defunct ReadySoft. It was released mainly for the consoles from what I can remember. It was called BrainDead 13. I remember playing through it, and of course the most frustrating thing was timing the moves, and I died a lot, but if done right it was pretty funny to see all the scenes. I actually do still have a copy of this game, but I don't have a ps1 any more, a ps2 won't properly load the game, and I doubt it will even boot on a ps3. So there is always emulation.

I am wondering if anyone else here played or know of these games as well?

Oh, and about BrainDead 13, someone did post the entire gameplay without actually dying even once. Quite impressive, given that I said before that the controls and sequences and timing was quite difficult. Still makes for an entertaining watch. Very Happy

P.S. The wacky character with the two hooks for hands chasing the main character is named Fritz, he's friggin awesome!! lol!
