Hmm. (<= That sums up the entire post.)

I took a break from this whole thing last year and had a nice ol' rest, put my feet up, watched the world go by, and all of that.

Then, when chatting to someone online about three-four weeks ago, we got into talking about scams and it sparked off my desire to get back into the fun that I used to have here.

So I did.

I still had a few catcher accounts collecting emails, so I dipped into one of them and pulled out a few lads. And replied. Usual stuff, never really done wrong by it before.

(This is where the "Hmm" comes in.)

And now, two-and-a-bit weeks later, how many baits can I say I'm actually involved in? ZERO! It's like they're not even trying to take my (non-existent) money.

Or maybe I've lost IT. Perhaps I should read that guide to straight-baiting that I saw in the Eater U forum. Apparently, it's by some guy who was quite good at it. Or so I've heard.

But I'll give it a few more weeks before getting desperate, don't worry.

Otterfan, you didn't lost it. You can still get a lad to bite with a simple one liner if you reply to a dozen lads. I think that a lot of lads have been baited before and are getting coutious. And there's allso a nice tutorial in eater u about how to reply to a lad, i can recommend it. It's written by a certain member you know from the past. Wink

Well, good luck. It will only be a matter of time until you nip away without any warning in the midst of the next bait the next time, leaving once again everyone clueless behind, who were trying to contact the world wondering what might have happened with you and stuff. Just don´t expect everyone to be shouting with joy when you decide to come back asking for a piece of cake that might still be left over for you. It´s likely that it´s soft and mouldy by then.

Not even the ones that tell you color and distance are not important but love is what matters in life? Refugee camps in senegal and ivory coast are full of girls who can make you feel loved.

I never had much luck with that type even when I was on form! But I've resurrected a few of my earlier modalities and I'll see what comes of that.

Actually, I opened up my baiting account this morning and it seems that my change in tactics is starting to show some signs of working as I had three replies all eager and wanting to share in the fun. And, I got a form from one of them that I found quite amusing. I'll probably post it in the Pictures forum.

I'll keep the Mentor idea in mind, Jayhawk, but it's looking like I might not be quite so beyond hope after all. Yay!

I always find direct entry boring and never allows you to get them off topic. Short replies leave them cautious. If you come over to be human, they will often become human too. Drop in a few bits of info about your 'made up' personal life. Or use some sort of a twist. The last one I responded to I made out that I had confused him with another operator(scammer) who I had just sent $5,000 to and run out on me. If they think you are a victim straight away they will almost always bite.
