Hi Everyone,
I'm not sure if "GENERAL CHAT" is the right place to post this. I'm curious about all those ads I've seen promising I can make money online answering surveys. Has anyone done it and actualyl gotten paid? If so which company? Thanks! |

In a nutshell, NO.
My experience has been that you have to buy something first, and then fill out a survey. Not 419, but definately a scam in my opinion.
P.S. I removed the links in your post. Plese don't include them again. Thanks. |

Years ago I did it and got maybe $15-20 a month. They paid a couple bucks per survey. I quit when they went to the lotto style of payment. One lucky person gets $100 and the rest get squat.
You might make a few bucks for beer but it's not worth it. Just my opinion. |

My mum fills them out and she does get paid - normally with discount vouchers for big chain stores. |

It's a cheap way of targeted marketing, you express an interest in something .... you get lots of emails trying to sell you that something. Simple.
It's worth a small outlay to the survey company, they make their money from the sellers for getting direct leads for them.
There again they could just be phishing for personal information. |

Bloody pain in the proverbial.
In a "browser" game I'm playing you need "gold" at times and the only ways to get it are 1) to spend good money, 2) earn points.
Earning points means signing up for things like "free" offers, and we all know you never get owt for nowt. Muggins here signed up and took a survey, and now I keep getting offers I don't want. It's all just a cheap way for firms to get easy sales leads. |
