I need some lad speak advice.
I've sent a series of emails to some guy to make him think that he is getting some money. Can anyone give me a good link to a lad speak site so that i can email him and let him think that he has a competitor.
I've seen a couple of sites but they seem to be more pidgen English related and I don't know some of the terms they use. |

My guy, u dont need to write in igbo nor pidgin. U come from different country than ur lad u dont know igbo. Write him mail starting with BRODA or MY GUY and lots of u and ur and ending di mail with ONE LOVE. Ur lad will think ur a guyman too. |

No need to use lad speak at all. You can quite happily stick to English.
Good English skills are a sign of an educated lad. And an educated lad is a successful lad.
You'll gain more respect by not using pidgin than you would using it. If you really need to use something, just throw in the odd word (maga, mugu, guy, etc.) here and there.
You've also got to remember that if you start addressing the lad in his own language, there's the very real risk that he'll start replying to you in it. And then, unless you can translate it, you're left scratching your head on where to take the bait next. Stick to English and if he pulls his language on you, you can tell him "I'm educated. My parents paid good money for my schooling. I speak English and I demand that you do too". |
