Is there anywhere I can get a secure email account with a decent sized mailbox?
I currently have a hushmail account but unless I want to pay for it I only have a 2mb mailbox! |

I can confirm that as well, just opened one, loads of storage. Picks up 99% of spam as well. |

gmail is great, just be aware that (for me anyway) it sends most of the incoming mail to spam folder. this isnt a hassle, but the spam folder is not on the home page, you need to click "6 more" then "spam" i didnt realise this at first, 2 weeks later found over 300 scam emails in there |

There should be an option somewhere to delete or turn off the folders you don't need, like those "Work", "Family", etc default ones it creates when you sign up. If you clear a bit of space there, the spam folder should become visible all the time. (Sometimes the spam folder is turned off by default too)
A handy trick I use is to go into the "Google Labs" option and install that extra thing that gives you more "Star" icons. Then if you're running multiple baits from the same account, you can mark the various messages from each bait with a different coloured icon, so you know which ones are from who when the inbox starts getting cluttered up.
Those scammers don't seem to have mastered the use of the reply button. I got one right now who sends me two copies of every message, one on a reply, the other separately, so it starts a new "conversation".
Have fun |
